Keki N. Daruwalla writes poetry and fiction, also articles in journals on political and Minority affairs. Has published ten poetry collections (never repeating a poem), five short story books and two novels. For Pepper and Christ was short listed for Commonwealth Prize (Asia-UK, 2010). Has written two full length Plays (unpublished). His poems figure in prestigious anthologies like Scanning the Century: The Penguin Book of the Twentieth Century Poetry (1999).
Awards: Sahitya Academy award (1984), Commonwealth Poetry prize for Asia (1987), Padma Shri (2014). Queen Elizabeth House Fellow at Oxford (1980-81). Posts: Special Assistant to Prime Minister (1979), Retired as Chairman JIC (Joint Intelligence Committee, 1995) Appointed Member National Commission for Minorities (2011-14).
