Nirupama Dutt interviews the subject of her shocking biography, Bant Singh; an agricultural labour activist, fighting against the power of the landowner. On the rape of his minor daughter, Bant Singh took the upper caste convicts to court. A few years later he was attacked, due to which he lost both his arms and one leg. Now, he sings songs about the woes of the poor, women, revolution and so on. The hour-long evening is interspersed with songs, conversations and storytelling, celebrating the incredible spirit that is Bant Singh.
